PipeTech lubricant additive is specifically designed for HDD, coiled tubing and wireline operations for environmentally sensitive projects. It is designed to reduce torque and drag by decreasing metal to metal or metal to rock friction due to its exceptional affinity for coating surfaces. PipeTech’s lubircity will increase the effectiveness of drilling operations, ease of tripping, and extend the service life of HDD, coiled tubing and wireline components.
Most applications of PipeTech occur when problems due to frictional resistance of contact surfaces are anticipated in HDD, coiled tubing, or wireline operations. Can be used in environmentally sensitive areas that prohibit the use of petroleum products or other harsh chemicals. PipeTech should be mixed using metered additions into the fluid system at the rate of 1.0 – 5.0 gallons per thousand or as needed or in sweeps for immediate lubrication
