CalRelease is a unique way of treating sodic soils by promoting the rapid release of previously unavailable calcium from soils. It also contains a blend of soil surfactants that helps with percolation and wetting as well as release of sodium from active soils. CalRelease is most effective in calcium rich soils, but it can be supplemented with our granular CalBoost for use in all soil types. The biggest benefit of CalRelease is that usage of this product virtually eliminates the initial jump in electrical conductivity seen with other sodic soil amendments.
